We took a much needed break to the mountains of North Carolina. My Dad owns this cool little mountain house in Lake Lure.
As a matter of fact, that what the Kids call it... "Papa and Nanny's Little Mountain House"...
Before we got to go out and about, we had to do some much needed repairs to the house, so we constructed this "jankie" looking scaffolding thingie. As Dad and I discusses how to build this "JLST" he informs me that I will be the one climbing up on the JLST. I just knew I would fall and die. BUT my Dad surprises yet again... After we put it together, It was suprizingly stable, so I jumped right up there and we repaired the screening... Next on the list... Dad informed me we would be replacing the existing shingled roofing with metal.
We've been going to Lake Lure from the time I was a WEEE lad (not that I'm a big strapping dude now). This cut out in the side of the mountain my brothers and I would carve in it with with sticks, knives and anything we could get our hands on.
This is the 2nd coolest place we like to go on our bi-annual visits. They have a basement FULL of all kinds of neat tapestries, blankets, coats, home decor and candles.. All at a VERY low price!!
Our other fav place to visit. The Old Cider Mill...
They sell all sorts of local tasties...
And they give away the COOLest little "Bat cave" pennies.

Have you ever met someone and automatically had a song in your head that describes them?
With Ashleigh and Jess the song that bounced on my like Tigger bounces on Pooh, is Colbie Caillat's Bubbly...
I noticed a few things about these two.
1) there are VERY much in love. You can see it in the way they walk together!!
2) Ash has this Meg Ryan smile... And when she flashes it, you can see this "school boy twinkle" in Jessie's eye... It's really quite romantic!!
I can honestly tell that He would move earth and moon if she wanted it... 
These are the type of "flowers" Ash is using in her wedding! Now THAT is creative!!
